The life and work of Neil Diamond is the subject of a brand-new Broadway musical. His greatest hits, including "Sweet Caroline," are all presented in the production, which will be performed by an outstanding cast under the direction of Will Swenson.

The story follows an ambitious Jewish artist from Flatbush, whose family name is called Diamond. As he grows up, he finds his place as a performer at the Bitter End in Greenwich Village, immediately signs a record deal that comes back to haunt him, and as years go on, he walks away from one marriage after another. "Amid all that, Diamond evolves into a globe-trotting, sequin-wearing, arena-playing star,” Broadway World shares.
According to previous reports, singer-songwriter Neil Diamond-Then will be played by Tony nominee Will Swenson, who most recently appeared in the Off-Broadway revival of Assassins. Neil Diamond-Now will be played by Tony contender Mark Jacoby, Robyn Hurder as Marcia, while Linda Powell is cast as the Doctor.
The creative team comprises Highly regarded director Michael Mayer, renowned screenwriter Anthony McCarten, and Olivier Award-winning choreographer Steven Hoggett.
